Jane's life

       Using my logo from previously I decided to make my TagBrush similar. I like the certain print I chose because it is rough looking. It looks like actual spray paint. I like the scratch look and how there's a white line with a swirl at the bottom. I think it's a cool looking tag brush. 

       In my logo I chose to do my initial, the letter J, combined with the top of an umbrella for my logo. I feel like the J represents my identity because of my name. From jewelry, to room decor a lot of things in my life are shown by the letter J. I feel like people are most likely to do some sort of their initials for the project because that's what represents them most and it would be something that they could get "tattooed on their forehead".     On the other hand I chose to do an umbrella along with it. The J reminded me of an umbrella hook. I also love a good rainy day. When the rain is coming down and you are getting all wet an umbrella is used as protection. I'd like to think of myself as that. I try my best to defend and protect my friends and family if they're in need. 

  This is my post card I chose a pink background because it is my favorite color. I chose my self portrait because I thought that it would fit best with the post card. I like the set up of my card and the logo. I tried to be creative with my logo part. I like how my name in the logo matches the border color.

I think the layers will be hard to figure out because it is hard to keep track of what information is on the different layers. Adding images will be easy because we already have experience with that from class and the other adobe apps.   My gif shows a cupcake being frosted and a cherry being added. I did this because I thought it would be simple but cool. I tried to do it as effective as possible

  I chose to do legally blonde because it is one of my favorite movies and I had this picture of me dressed up a well so it goes well together.

  I feel like this would be hard to photoshop myself into because there is the guitar that needs to be layered over. You would also need to use the same stage lighting to make it look like you are actually there. This inspired my Somewhere project because it is funny and follows the guidelines. It is funny because he blends in with them and their outfits. It looks like he almost belongs there. This made me laugh because he still technically followed what she said to do but he just creatively twisted it. It is unconventional and funny. I would want to recreate this one because it looks very cool and would be hard to capture. 

  The original assignment was to choose a picture that shows human connection. I chose this picture because this is me and my friend Megan hugging. She is my sorority "twin" so I basically consider her my family. I chose these colors because some of them contrast with each other so that they stand out more. I think that this colors go well together.

I think the crop tool will be easy to use because it's just moving the image. I also think the pixel and image layers will be easy to use since we were working with them a little bit for class. I also think that the brush tool will be easy because it doesn't require a lot of work and it is pretty straight forward. I feel like this video would mostly come into use when you use a poster or minor editing.        A picture in "The Peoples Portfolio" that stood out to me was the immigration photo of the family at the border. They are being shut out and disconnected from a different part of the world. The wall is a symbol of exclusion for families that want safety but are unable to obtain it. They have a lot of restriction placed on where they can live and where they can travel to. It makes me sad but also makes me realize how grateful I should be for my life and the opportunities I get. Not everyone has it easy and I think I take it for granted sometimes. Immigration can be a complex and emotionally charged issue, and it may evoke sadness for various reasons. It's important to note that not everyone views immigration in a negative light, and people's feelings about it can vary widely depending on their personal perspectives and experiences.      Testimonial Propaganda: relies on experts and respected sources to promote a particular idea Many studies show that exposure to sunlight increases the brain release in serotonin. Serotonin is associated in boosting your mood and helping a person feel calm and focused. The serotonin that you get from sunlight can also lead to better sleep. Sunlight will give you vitamin D which is necessary for your health which is hard to get from just food alone. Vitamin D leads to stronger bones and lower blood pressure.      My main message is that I'm trying to convince people to spend more time outside and in the sun. They should agree with me because there are so many benefits to spending time in the sun. I think people would try to argue with my message because of side effects of spending too much time in the sun. Essentially if people spend more time outside in the sun, the world would be a happier place, people would be nicer, and everyone would be healthier....

      For my piece I chose to do a sand dollar as a way to represent the big beautiful beach house that I am going to live in. In the actual content of my piece I talk about becoming happy, successful, and independent. I feel the happiest at the beach and specifically in Cape Cod, Massachusetts. I think the sand dollar is a good representation of the beach because it is a piece of decor in every beach house and I always think of coastal life when I see one. I've always told my sister that I will know I've made it in life when I can buy myself a Cape house so this is important to me.     The sand dollar in my work is the only one in the picture, yet they tend to crowd together in one area.  Dear future 38 year old self, I hope all is well. I am happy where I'm at now, but I hope that things will only continue to get better year after year. I hope you learn to find the beauty in day to day life and look for all the positives around you. Every single day possesses the opportunity to be great, it all depends on how you choose to live your life. By 38 I hope you've continued to learn and grow from stupid mistakes. I hope you've met a ton of amazing people and gone on a lot of amazing trips. I hope that everything turns out the way I want it to be. I hope you have so much self-love and are comfortable where you're at. I hope life blesses you with a beautiful beach house in Cape Cod. I hope you get to decorate it the way you've always wanted to. However I am not very good at using the anchors, handles, and paths, so that is going to be harder for me to figure out. I do think manipulating the anchor will be easy though because you are just stretching out the shape. I also think it will be difficult to use the color panels and change colors, gradients, and outlines. After figuring out the shapes to use I think it will be easy to align it with other shapes. You could use these tools for a lot of different things such as creating posters, flyers, or social media posts.       The internet is something that is able to connect people around the globe. By definition the internet is a global computer network providing a variety of information. It allows us to have access to anything in an instant. Computer scientists Vinton Cerf as well as Bob Khan are the two scientists that created the internet. They created communication protocols and the system used for the internet. It was created in 1969 for the purpose of transferring data between two computer systems at UCLA. Today it serves a much larger purpose. We use it today to talk to friends and family, watch videos, and have any information we want. We can pretty much do anything we want for entertainment on the internet.      The Oxford dictionary definition of the World Wide Web is an information system on the internet which allows documents to be connected to other documents by hypertext links.        Hi! I'm Jane and I am from Boston, Massachusetts. I love living in a city, but I also love the warm weather, so that is why I came here to Tampa. Living in Boston has taught me how to be more independent. I learned at a young age how to take the train by myself in order to get where I need to go. I even took the train to school everyday for six years. I did cheerleading in high school so I enjoy doing flips which is a fun fact about myself. I am a freshman and I enjoy walking, going to the beach, meeting new people, and painting. I have a sister that graduated from UTampa in the spring and we are very close with each other. An accomplishment for me is traveling 1,300 miles from home to go to school here by myself, because it is very outside my comfort zone, but I have enjoyed my time here so far.
